Prime Minister Visits Argus ManuTech to See World-Class Manufacturing in Action

Last week, we had the honour of hosting the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt Hon Christopher Luxon, at our facilities. The visit was an opportunity to showcase some of our most technically advanced projects and the highly skilled people who make them possible.

Highlights included:

• Aerospace innovation – cabling systems for rockets that launch satellites into orbit.
• Medical technology – our work as the advanced manufacturing partner for MARS Bioimaging Ltd, building the world’s first portable, full-colour CT scanner.
• Sustainable transport – supporting HW Richardson Group’s alternative fuels conversion business, CHANGE Fuel Technologies, in decarbonising the heavy transport industry with hydrogen.

From the leadership team to the shop floor, the Prime Minister engaged with the people driving these projects forward, remarking:

“This is exactly the kind of company we want to see more of in New Zealand. A high-technology business producing the world’s best products for high-end global customers."

For us, the visit was more than a recognition. It was an affirmation of the complex system builds and high-compliance manufacturing taking place here in New Zealand.
